So what if I’m obsessed?

This is the second night in a row I’ve had a Harry Potter related dream. I was standing in line to get Book 7, and then I had to run home and start reading it, butI realize I don’t know where to go.

I have a problem. I listen to a Harry Potter podcast (diligently). I read Harry Potter forums for in-depth plot analysis (guiltily). I read 6 page essays about whether or not Snape is evil (He’s NOT!!!). When I heard when the release date of Book 7 will be (7/20/07), I had a seizure of joy and spent the rest of the day fantasizing about getting the book at midnight and staying up all night to read it all at once and not stopping to eat or drink or go to the bathroom or breathe. When I found out that there is also a LARP that weekend, I decided to be a cast member, instead of adventuring like I usually do, just so I can be able to read until my brain oozes from my ears. I’m excited about the movie, too, but Book 7 OMFGBBQ.

Yeah, I’m a little obsessed. So sue me. Sometimes it makes me sad, because I know how much I would have loved these books when I was a child. Although I really (really, really) enjoy them now, they really would have made a difference in my childhood.

In other news, I still haven’t taken pictures of the yarn I bought at Loop. I will, seriously. And, here’s a link that I will be adding to my sidebar: it’s my fiance’s cafe press store, which has “Cthulhu loves yarn” shirts. You should buy some.
