While I didn’t have too many problems with this pattern, I do admit that it required attention. It was a fun knit, though, and went fairly fast, despite the sockweight yarn. I’m especially pleased with the way the lace pattern looks, and I suspect I’ll be using sockweight yarn for sweaters in the future. I wasn’t sure about the 3 needle bind-off used for the shoulder seams, but it worked out well. The only thing I’m not entirely pleased about is the hook and eye tape (still). I think I will be taking out one side of it and re-sewing it in. All in all, I like this sweater, and I know I will be wearing it quite a lot. In fact, I have been toying with the idea of making another, in a brighter color…
Now I have to start looking for my next big project, which probably will be my wedding shawl. Maybe I’ll make a fair isle something.
That looks wonderful!
Thank you for sharing pictures.
gorgeous sweater! you are so talented. 🙂
I came from Emilee’s blog — your sweater looks wonderful!! It really suits you.
Serrano looks wonderful on you. It’s on my short to-do list, but I think I’m inbetween sizes. A 34 is too small (I’m a 35) and a 38 would be way too big. Did you have any similar concerns for yourself?
Leslie, I’m right at a 34, so I didn’t have any big concerns for sizing. I was a little worried when I first finished blocking it, but the fabric is really stretchy. I think that the small size would fit a 35, but it may be a little tigher than you would want (depending on how tight you like things). Changing the closures would help, too. Hope this helps!
It presents a selection of wellness and fitness gains that’s
why it is called ‘the Queen of fruits’. One thing that
functions like a wonder with this fruit is the compound hydroxycitric acid or HCA.
